Description

This course introduces students to the study of global cities, urban realities, and associated ministry needs. Students will be challenged to develop a biblically informed understanding of the city and how faith connects to work and relationships in an urban context. An emphasis will be placed on social, economic and spiritual factors that influence urban dynamics and effective ministry strategies. Appropriate evangelism tools, research methods, and church planting models will be presented to assist students in the identification of community needs and reaching urban people for Christ.
